Whenever I get to spend time with my couples alone, it is awesome. A couple days after Flora and Thor’s wedding, we went all over San Francisco for their Day After session.

Flora and Thor are quiet and seem shy when you first meet them, but AHA!, don’t be fooled! We spent most of our time talking, laughing and telling stories.

Thor told the story of the first time he saw Flora…

“She was ALWAYS late to a class we had together. But she really got my attention that way.” Flora just giggles when Thor teases about her punctuality issues.

It happened 5 years ago today. My life changed completely. For the better; no, for the best. My first son was born. I could never prepare myself for the feelings and experiences that having a child would bring. They are overwhelming in everyway. Even to this day.

I look at Robbie now and I can hardly believe that 5 years have gone by! The little baby that slept in my bed and kept his “passy” till he was 3, is now a big boy that goes to school and knows his letters. Time is going by so quickly.

Robbie, you are still too young to fully understand the intensity of a parents’ love, or the lengths I would go to protect you, but I want you to know that you are the most amazing gift God has given me. You have saved me from myself without knowing it, and remind everyday to see life from a different view. I love you with my whole heart!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!!

The day was clear, sunny and beautiful. Not near as beautiful as Flora was on her wedding day. She was glowing from head to toe. Thor and Flora were married in Napa, with their closest friends and family near. Their reception was held at Nicholson Ranch, in the rolling hills of Sonoma.

Like I said, I spent the entire weekend with Kiran and Sreedhar. On our last day together, we went all around Stinson Beach for their Day After photos. The area was full of some of my favorite things: the ocean, the mountains, and nature.
