One of her goals is to be the wife that her Prince Charming deserves. I am pretty sure that his goal is to keep her laughing the rest of her life. They will be married in June at the beautiful Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

I have known Christy for quite a long time; she has shown strength at times when I am sure that most of us would give up. And I believe that Ian is her gift for persevering.

We climbed over the rocks and up the side of the coastal hill at Laguna Beach to find an empty spot for their engagement photos. It was a warm Sunday evening, and the beach was the place to be. 

Although I was taking their pictures, to them, they were alone. The way he would whisper to her, making her laugh, or the sweet kisses that they shared. These two needed no coaxing to express their love.

I couldn’t pick which image I liked better ;) 

Work it, girl! 

This last Saturday, I went down to San Diego to photograph a super fun wedding for Jessica and Duke.

The ceremony took place at the Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala.  (A little side note, it was the first Mission in California.) It is a beautiful church with gardens and a lot of history.

Kind of like Jessica and Duke.You can see the love they share when they whisper sweet words to each other. Or, when Duke makes Jessica laugh with an inside joke. It is obvious they want to please one another.

Jessica and Duke, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day, and a little part of your history. It was an honor. I hope you guys have a terrific time in Hawaii; have a cold drink on the beach for me!

Rob rarely lets me take his photo…he is just a little camera shy. But when we were in Palm Springs a couple of weeks ago, I talked him into a little impromptu session with him and the boys.
