The Littlest Heroes Project
January 31, 2008 | Filed Under | 3 Comments
Cancer, AIDS, Diabetes, Autism, and many other illnesses…they affect thousands of children in this country. Stealing the joy and fun that childhood is supposed to be about. “The Littlest Heroes” Project is a way for photographers to use their talent for something truly amazing.
This foundation matches sick children/teens and their families with local photographers for a free photo session. The photographer will travel to either the home, or even the hospital to take photos with these brave soldiers and their families. Allowing the family to have a tangible memory to hold on to forever.
I am proud to say that I am a partner in this project, and I urge other photographers to give of their time and talent to make an amazing impact in a little one’s life. If you are interested, please Visit www.keephopeforever.org and read how you can become involved.
Even if you aren’t a photographer, visit the site and read about the moving stories of these kids and make a donation if you are able.

Jeremiah and Laura…Wedding
January 24, 2008 | Filed Under | 11 Comments
Ok, hold on…this is going to be a loooong post.
The Barkley’s are a long time, dear friend of Rob and mine. We went to school, church and basically grew up together with them. Laura is the baby of Randy and Barb’s 3 children…and boy has she grown up!!!!
Because life takes everyone in their own directions, it had been sometime since I had seen the Barkleys, but time can’t change a beautiful friendship.
On January 5th, I assisted my good friend, Daniel in photographing the wedding of Laura to Daniel’s brother-in-law, Jeremiah. I was honored to be able to witness this union, and teared up quite a few times during the day. Thinking of Laura as my own little sister, it was amazing to see the woman she has become. I know that her and Jeremiah are going to have a fabulous life together. Lots of hugs and love to you both!

Mike and Hazel…Engagement
January 22, 2008 | Filed Under | 11 Comments
Dark clouds, cold and rain couldn’t dampen these two. We met on Main Street in Seal Beach to shoot Mike and Hazel’s Engagement photos yesterday, not really sure what the weather was going to give us. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Quiet streets and very few people, make for a great photo session!
Mike’s super smarts and Hazel’s obvious beauty make them a amazing couple. She loves his intelligence and he just loves to be with her. “Everything is just better when I experience it with her.”
They share likes, dislikes and a strong commitment to one another. Mike and Hazel will be married this April in Palm Springs…it is going to be a blast!
Thank you for a wonderful time yesterday! You let me be as creative as I wished, did anything I asked, made my job so much fun! I am stoked for the wedding!

Elizabeth and Michael…Engagement

“I can’t believe he was interested in me and now, I am marrying him!” They met at church and have been together for almost 3 years. A sweet crush growing into a deep love and passion for each other; Elizabeth and Michael will be married on March 15 of this year. He loves to tease her, and his sense of humor makes Elizabeth smile.
